Given the present situation, we have decided to postpone the Mini Yoga Festival until later in the year. It will be a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together again when it feels safe to do so.

A celebration of Yoga and Holistic practices in beautiful West Cork
 

There will be all sorts of goodness on offer to light you up in Body, Heart and Soul: Yoga classes with experienced teachers, local therapists offering taster treatments, Café providing delicious vegetarian meals, a guided walk on the nature reserve and an evening Barefoot Boogie.

This event is a fundraiser for An Sanctóir. All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of this wonderful Community Centre.

Half day (morning) €30

includes 3 morning classes


Half day (afternoon) €35

includes 3 afternoon classes and evening dance

10.00 - 11.00  Fiona Ashley: Dynamic Vinyasa

                       A playful approach to this dynamic practise, with an emphasis on                                      building core strength, stability, and centredness.


11.10 - 12.10   Sinead Lucia: Yin yoga  

                     An invitation to surrender to and find stillness in the present moment with                       slow deep and mindful movement. I invite you to meditate with me.


12.15 - 1.15    Clair Lalor: Somatic Yoga

                     Somatic Yoga focusing on attitude, attention and awareness.

2.30 - 3.30   Betty O’Toole: Shiatsu

3.40 - 4.40   Uta Kaiser: Scaravelli Yoga

                      Exploring how gravity and breath free up movement of the spine, helping                        the body to relax deeply and find its inner strength and lightness.

                  

4.45 - 5.45  Claire Osborne: Deep rest- Restorative and Yoga Nidra 

                     Gentle, nourishing stretches using props for support, and meditative rest                         to ease tension and calm body, heart and mind.

Treatments

If you feel like an extra treat, book in for one of the wonderful taster treatments on offer from local therapists Uta Kaiser, Patricia O'Sullivan and Laura Fogarty. This will be a lovely, relaxing addition to an active day of classes. Treatments will last 30 minutes and cost €25. Use the link below to book yourself in.

Intuitive Massage with Uta Kaiser

A blend of different oil massage techniques, Acupuncture points and Lomi Lomi. Flowing deeply nourishing moves that are intuitively worked into a relaxing and pain relieving bodywork session that heals and inspires.

Meiso Shiatsu with Patricia O'Sullivan

Meiso (Meditational) Shiatsu as formed from life-long learning by Masahiro Oki of Japan, is based on natural pressure techniques, harmonising the nervous and hormonal systems, balancing the internal organs and their functions, and working on the conscious and unconscious spheres. It is hands on and the client is clothed.

Usui Reiki with Laura Fogarty

Reiki allows us to open up to profound healing across the body, creating many beneficial effects, invoking feelings of deep relaxation, peace, harmony and love, as well as a beautiful connection to Source and all that is. It is a simple, natural and safe Universal energy, therefore it is suitable for all ages and for those who wish to discover it's many positive healing benefits.

About An Sanctóir

​

An Sanctóir is a Holistic Community Centre near Ballydehob in West Cork, situated on a 25 acre nature reserve. It is a registered Charity and is run by a Board of Trustees who all work on a voluntary basis. Most of the running costs of the centre are paid for from income generated by hiring the centre out however additional funds are always needed to maintain the building and the grounds and keep this wonderful community resource thriving. All proceeds from the Mini Yoga Festival will go towards this cause.
