The Pirate ship at An Sanctoir, (originally built for the Peter Pan Easter Adventure in 2008) has now been deemed unsafe. Due to the cries from families wishing to keep such a ship at An Sanctoir we are offering those families and any other families or persons who are interested to come to this
pirate ship gathering camp. This event is hosted by An Sanctoir free of charge.
We will take down all that is unsafe, and make a bonfire, see what is reusable and discuss plans on how to rebuild; Who will volunteer to build, sourcing materials and deciding on a design and date for rebuilding.
Children are very welcome, but no unattended children please.
Bring tools for deconstruction and food to share. Bring your inspiration and ideas. Bring musical instruments if you so desire.
Starting Friday afternoon and finishing Sun. morning. Come for a few hours, or stay camping two nights. The time will be divided up with: discussions, deconstruction, bonfire, games, campfire and sharing food.
IF YOU DON’T COME TO THIS CAMP: VOICE YOUR IDEAS AND PLEDGE YOUR TIME TO MAKING IT HAPPEN…THE PIRATE SHIP WILL SIMPLY DISSAPEAR. (and that might just be fine too, but it’s up to you)
