Maika'ike — Hawaiian Wisdom Training

Jody will teach an introductory course in Hawaiian Shamanism - accessing our most authentic self through the vehicle of the body.
The ancient Hawaiians believed that the most profound truths of our being were found deep within the cells of our body. These Hawaiian Wisdom Teachings will guide us in energetically and physically opening the pathways from the profound intelligence of the body to the mind.
Jody will introduce ancient, encoded movement, designed to bring our system into a state of harmony. In the process, energies bound by limiting belief systems, patterning, trauma and blockages are permanently released. As body-centered learning, practices in the Hawaiian Wisdom Teachings bypass the mind and we are able to embrace our (forgotten) Natural State of Being without thought or effort. Drawing upon the Spirit of Aloha, sacred chant and prayer, we will also integrate the process of Core and Cellular Transformation. The trainings offers an opportunity to increase body awareness, flexibility, strength and overall vitality. Maika'ike Trainings clear and strengthen us on all levels. Physically, the exercises are healing and balancing for the immune, endocrine, digestive, and nervous systems of the body.
Jody Kealoha Mountain has been studying various forms of movement dynamics for the past 25 years. Making her home in Maui, Hawai'i, she has been immersed in Hawaiian Wisdom teachings for over 17 years and is a senior student of Kahu Abraham Kawai'i (now passed). Her passion is sharing the mana'o (transmission) of her teacher as a vehicle for awakened consciousness — bringing us back to our natural selves, deeply connected with our innate intelligence, the wisdom of Nature, and our communion with Spirit.
Course Timetable: Friday, April 30th, from 3pm. - 9p.m.
Saturday, May 1st, from 9a.m. - 7p.m.
Sunday, May 2nd, from 9a.m. - 6p.m.
Dinner on Friday and Lunch on the following two days will be provided on site, at an additional cost that will be confirmed upon registering. Participants may bring their own yoga mat, snacks if necessary, and water bottles.
