Festival of light

GENERAL INFO:
The Festival of light was created by the community for the community.
In these times of great change and potential, we thought among many things getting together would be: nourishing, fun, inspiring and empowering.
The Festival is Not for Profit and any money raised after expenses will go to An Sanctoir and Two Rivers Kindergarten (both community projects in themselves). Money will also be put aside for improving the facilities for next year’s festival.
We are charging a small fee of €50 Plus your input / contibuition to the event; either by helping with practical jobs such as carrying wood, tidying up or teaching a workshop or performing.
THE BIG LODGE will provide free food and a place to chill by donation.
A Cafe will be run on the premises, Freshly made Pizza in a cobb oven on site as well as a few other food stalls. People can bring their own food but cooking fires (due to the high fire risk) will not be allowed.
Caravans will be limited due to space. If you wish to come with one please book in advance.
Car parking will be off premise about ½ km from An Sanctoir. People can unload at the gate and then park at parking field. We hope to have wheel barrows available for moving gear. Only designated vehicles will be allowed on site.
GATE TIMES :
The Festival gates will open at 2pm on Friday June 25 and close at 8pm.
Gates will reopen at 10am Sat. 26th and stay open until 8pm.
On Sunday the 27th gates will open from 10am and close at 6pm.
If you are setting up you may come earlier on Thursday day or Friday morning.
