Film:  The Eleventh Hour

Drought. Famine. Severe flooding. Record rainfall. Hurricanes. Acid rain. The highest average temperatures in recorded history. Catastrophe is reported on the nightly news as isolated incidents. But are these incidents isolated, or pieces of a larger global puzzle that could unlock humanity's future?

Are these changes to the earth permanent? Or are they puzzle pieces that, if connected, reveal a larger story that needs to be told; a human story that takes into account who we are and the state of our relationship to this planet, our only home. We are in an environmental age whether we like it or not.

Narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio.  >>more

Releasing the outer skin of present identity can be a fearful concept, sometimes it is preferable to stay the same way even if stuck or in a rut, rather than experience any discomfort. Old patterns are safe and reliable and yet static and fixed.

Within this workshop we learn to use the snake as a metaphor for movement and new growth. >>more

When we claim back what is rightfully ours then we can exchange energy, sex and love on our own terms. We will give time to old stories, in order to release them and move on to a clearer sense of what it is to be a strong, sensual woman in her own power. more >>>

4 -7 September
Masterclass: The Self-Image Of The Therapist

In this seminar we will explore in detail the therapeutic attitude and self-image of the therapist. The starting point here is the assumption that there is no “correct therapeutic attitude / self-image”, only one that is correct for the individual therapist.  Viewed from another perspective, it becomes clear that the therapist needs to pay a lot of attention to when s/he arrives at or adopts an attitude that is not appropriate or artificial. The therapist needs to be clear about the foundations of his/her attitude and which are his/her strength and abilities that support the therapeutic “success”. Many pay more attention to their weaknesses, mistakes and blunders then their strength, perhaps believing this to be the way to go. When we realise the importance of getting and staying connected to our individual strength in the therapeutic work, our “light” can shine the way for both the client as well as the therapy.Further, the therapist needs to be(come) aware of how s/he fits into the systemic relationship model of the client, in order to make use of this in the work.   >>more

Masterclass: Recognising The Here-And-Now: Presence and Essence

Even though we might be long familiar with this point and yet, might still stumble over it: “The Helper Syndrome”. Few of us are free of it, few pay enough attention to it: our desire to change the client. It is somewhat absurd and yet somehow necessary to ask the client about their goals in therapy; but the essence has different plans than the “repetition-consciousness” of the small self /ego. The process of self-discovery is paramount.

When we can experience ourselves exactly and implicitly as we are, a natural change occurs. This being an old and proved Gestalt-philosophy, yet it still is overshadowed by the desire to help, this, of course, in a subtle way.To be with what is present in the moment is an art that needs re- and re-learning.To live with what is, means to not just comprehend it rationally but experience it in the now in all three parts of our being: rationally, emotionally and physically. Can we do that?
